About Anahuakyouthsport
Our Mission
Mission
AYSA uses soccer to keep kids off the streets and away from drugs, gangs, and crime. The organization also aims to inspire youth to continue their education through scholarship fundraisers and college visits.
Programs
AYSA offers a structured soccer league for kids ages 5 to 17 at several parks and schools in Los Angeles. The organization also provides tutoring for players once a week.
Involvement
AYSA is involved in the community, mobilizing its members around environmental and health issues. In 2006, AYSA's organizing efforts helped open a 40-acre Rio de Los Angeles State Historic Park.
Affiliation
AYSA is affiliated with CalSouth, an affiliate of the U.S. Soccer Federation, and was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2000.
